100 Movies Project Extras - Ratatouille
Synopsis: Rat Can Cook.
Pros: Um, everything? Animation, story, sound & audio…all well above excellent.
Cons: Made me want to go home and start cooking, and it’s way too late in the evening to start that.
Verdict: I plan on picking up Hot Fuzz the day it comes out on DVD. Whenver Ratatouille comes out on DVD, I will be doing the same thing.

100 Movies Project - 92: Nuovo Cinema Paradiso
Synopsis: There’s a movie theater in Italy. And they show movies there. Shocking, I know.
Pros: It’s an art film that’s really good! Beautifully done, and very Italian.
Cons: Subtities are always hard to get used to, even after having watched a ton of anime.
Verdict: I had to stop halfway through, since I saw the part that inspired the movie Eight Days a Week, and that movie always cracks me up. :) This is one I’d definitely watch again.

100 Movies Project
I’ve decided to expand my cinema horizons a bit, while working to get myself back in the blogging habit. And so, armed with a list of the top 100 of the 250 on IMDb’s user-generated list as of May 10, 2007, and a brand new GreenCine account, I’m going to watch each movie on the list and give my very brief review of the movie. No spoilers, I promise!
- 92. Nuovo Cinema Paradiso
- 93. Million Dollar Baby
- 94. Batman Begins
- 95. Braveheart
- 96. Mr. Smith Goes to Washington
- 97. City Lights
- 98. The Apartment
- 99. Blade Runner
- 100. The Wizard of Oz
Update 5/14/07: Since I printed out my copy of the list, Hot Fuzz made it on the dynamic list on IMDb. This movie was way too cool to not say something about.
Update 6/21/07: I added the raking number to each entry. Thanks mental!
Update 7/24/07: Again, since I made the list, Ratatouille made it on the list. Again, it was so cool, I had to say something.
